| We attended Mass during our visit to Ireland in 2003 with our extended family (my parents, and our five children). We were very thankful to have access to the Sacraments so close to Trinity College, where we were staying. Since then, I've been back to Dublin twice on business and have taken the opportunity to visit for Mass or prayer each time. God bless. |

She has laid my pain, torment & sickness at the foot of the Cross and obtained incredible healings for me - from Alcoholism & recovery from Cancer. |

| Dear Fr. Jim and Community,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate you on the beautiful Holy Week Ceremonies. Our teenage son and daughter were very moved by the experience. The Choir and Liturgies were prayerful and superb. Your homily at the Easter Vigil was uplifting and Halleluiah Chorus was a fitting end to the whole ceremony. Keep up the great work the Carmelites are doing for us in the city centre. Happy Easter and hope you all get a good Easter break.

| I love to visit your beautiful church when i am in town. The PEACE AND TRANQUILLITY one finds there, in the middle of all the shopping madness and rushing around one can not buy. Thank God for your oasis of peace. I pray that more people will take a moment to drop in. Beautifully designed website. |

| Following in the footsteps of past guestbook visitors I’m sharing a poem. The church of St. Therese of Lisieux is one of three churches making up Holy Family Parish in north Belfast, and it was whilst there that the inspiration for the poem came to me.* Fragrant flowers and a picture* Tell a story all their own* Of how beauty thus created* Are God’s and God’s alone. |

| Dear Father Jim
It meant the world to my fellow teachers in the Celtic Experience program to be able to go to mass (more like, experience the love of God through the Eucharist, encountering the Living Word) at St. Teresa's. The priest, a true contemplative son of the Carmelite saints, and the choir, an echo of eternity, served to lift our hearts and souls to heaven.
As I am half Noonan, I felt a great sense of family pride.
God bless you, the OCD priests and Brother at St. Teresa's. She would be so proud. |

| I wrote the poem below after attending Mass recently - beannacht Dé oraibh
Dublin Discalced
There is no time for this
Yet its ancient call still persists.
Clarion in the early winter air,
A call to think, a call to prayer.
Eternity resounding, echoing in the heart of Mammon
Where, the aftertone of each Angelus bell
From St Teresa’s Church
Reveals tongue flames of angels
Amongst dazed and frenzied shoppers
Who turn and look there and there and there.
They straining to hear something nearly forgotten
Above the raucous roll and rail of shop shutters
And they astounded with no shoes on their feet
Discalced,
Of all weight, fear and pretension
Which sheds like confetti to the floor
With each soft caress from an angels wing
Like so many marionettes
No longer pulled by purse strings
They stand suddenly naked souls
Before God and each other.
In quickly quiet Grafton Street
There is but one, lastminutemustbuycan’twait feat -
The call to look to yourself and be at peace
And ponder a world shod of avarice and greed .
Written in gratitude after Mass at St Teresa’s (Carmelites Discalced) Clarendon Street, Dublin, on the 14th of November 2004.

| What an oasis of peace and healing in the middle of a busy city, the presence of God is all around, no wonder, since the commitment to reconcilliation is priority! A lesson for the ailing parishes across Europe.
Yes, living water here if you want it!
Many thanks. A convert from Wales, and now a regular visitor. |

| St. Teresa's has always been a very special place for my family & I, ever since my dear mother-in-law(who now rests in peace after a hard life) spoke so lovingly of the peace and tranquility of the church when she spent precious moments there on her visits to Dublin from what was then the shut-off town of Clones, surrounded on 3 sides by a closed and difficult border. St.Teresa's still retains the power to move, calm and uplift, and for that we are very grateful and proud to be a part of.
Thank you Fr Jim and all the Community for your hard work, friendship and, in no small measure, helping us to not forget that God is in us and around us; not just on Sundays but every minute of every day.
Thank you also for an amazing Christmas Eve Midnight Mass. It was a wonderful tribute to all of you and the extra work you had to fit in at the busiest time of the year. May 2004 be kind and rewarding to and for you All.

| Dear Fr. James & Community,
I would like to congratulate you and the Choir for the outstanding Christmas Midnight Mass on RTE. I wish, I was living in Dublin so that I could attend your beautiful Church every Sunday. The Choir were outstanding and really lifted my spirit. I am a student in the West of Ireland and life is not easy for me at the moment with anxiety and pressures from studies and difficulties from home. Your sermon really touched me and the whole Mass gave me new hope for the New Year. Please continue to pray for me and my family. I was sorry I didn’t hear about sending in prayers for the Mass. I would love to be remembered. Happy Christmas. Tony

My name is Jon Wells and I'm writing from Canada....I'm afraid I'm uncertain of the last name, but I'm trying to get in touch with Joe, who I believe is (or was) sacristan at St. Teresa's. Can you help me?
Thankyou.

| I have special memories of Clarendon St. church. My husband popped my engagement ring on my finger in front of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel there and we now call our home "Mount Carmel" ! My eldest son did the same to his fiancee !! |

| I made my First Communion in St. Teresas and myself and my husband Sean were married there on 6th June 1975 by Fr. Cronan Quinlan. We were very sorry to hear of his death during the year. We come every Sunday as St. Teresas is a very special place. I went to school where the Westbury Hotel is now!
Could I thank especially the choir for such wonderful, inspiring music week in week out, not just at Christmas and Easter. Best wishes with the web site. It is a great idea. |
